finalise the route and any special care required by the shipment upon reservation and prior to acceptance;

advise the agent/carrier if female animals are in oestrus “heat”;

advise the agent/carrier of the transported animal’s gender, age and breed;

provide containers that conform to the instructions of the agent/carrier;

provide suitable bedding and food necessary during the transportation, and special feeding and watering instructions of the animal;

declare the condition of animals when pregnant or has given birth in the last 48 hours;

complete and sign the “Shipper’s Certification” provided by the agent/carrier;

declare if the animal is under medical treatment.
